A full chandbali, the traditional crescent-shaped earring worn at weddings, festivals, and every occasion that deserves a little more such as handcrafted with ghungroo detailing at the drop. Available in five colours: blue, rani pink, purple, teal green, maroon.

Chandbalis are one of the oldest earring forms in Indian jewellery. This one is made by hand in Ahmedabad and updates the classic silhouette with colour saturation and the texture of ghungroo bells at the base. The result is festive without being heavy the earring hangs at about 6cm, stays comfortable over long hours, and catches light in a way that photographs well.

Wear these with a kurta and the outfit is done. The earring carries the look; everything else can be simple.

The Story

The chandbali is named for the crescent moon and it's shaped like. It is one of the oldest earring forms in Indian jewellery, worn for generations at weddings and festivals. We made ours by hand in Ahmedabad, keeping the traditional silhouette and adding saturated colour and a row of ghungroo bells at the base. Festive without the weight: it hangs long, stays comfortable for hours, and does the talking so the rest of your outfit doesn't have to.
