How it's made

Cloth, cord, clay or stone is chosen by hand for grain, weight and character before work begins.

The piece is cut, shaped or formed by an artisan, working to the exact design by hand.

Detailing, embellishment or finishing work — beading, printing, painting or stitching — is added by hand.

Every piece is checked by hand before it leaves Ahmedabad, so small natural variations are seen, not hidden.

A cotton journal wrapped in traditional Indian block-print fabric, handcrafted in limited quantities. Inside are 200 unruled pages of recycled rag paper, with centre binding and a 7 × 5 inch page size. The Katha Fabric Diary is for the person who writes, sketches or keeps an aesthetic journal, or the person you want to give something to that feels made rather than bought. It also slips neatly into the front pocket of the Ikat Tote Bag for notes on the go.

Can the Katha Fabric Diary be returned? No. The diary is non-returnable. If it arrives damaged or incorrect, submit the HOF return form within 48 hours of delivery and follow the Refund Policy.

  • Do not machine wash or soak, water can lift the block print.
  • Keep away from direct sun and moisture to protect the colour and paper.
  • Store flat or upright in a dry place.
