How to use them

Save, set, share

On iPhoneOpen the image, save it to Photos, then set it from Settings, Wallpaper. The name sits at the bottom, clear of the clock.

On AndroidDownload it, open it from your Gallery, and choose Set as wallpaper for the lock screen or home screen.

As a story backgroundPost it to your Instagram story and write over it. Tag @houseoffalguni if you do; we would love to see where it ends up.

Every pattern has a name

Ajrakh printers do not call these shapes “cute prints”. The cloud is kakkar, the raindrops are mifudi, the mango is keri. Each wallpaper links to its motif in Ajrakh Motifs, with what the written record says it means and a free sheet to print. To wear the real thing, the block-print collection carries Ajrakh on Mashru silk bags and a modal silk stole.
