Light as air, shaped like an envelope
A wallet that is also a clutch. Closed, it slides into a tote beside the laptop; on its own, with the phone and two cards inside, it is the evening bag. There is no chain, no zip and no hardware beyond the round press stud on the flap, which is why it weighs less than the phone it carries and still closes flat when full.
One of each print
Every Lifafa is printed cotton (the pattern is printed, not woven), cut, lined and sewn by one curator. Cream suns on rani pink, flower butis on cream, owls on navy, cream Ajrakh medallions on black and maroon, cream dots and dashes on maroon, Kalamkari paisleys in rust on black, a shoal of fish on magenta, patola hearts on green, folk figures on beige, indigo medallions on mustard, white rosettes on indigo, ikat diamonds on leaf green, mustard-gold paisley butis on maroon, eight-point stars on red and round black-and-white flowers on red: one piece in each print, with more prints to come. What each of the fifteen names means is in our note on the prints.
What goes in
The phone slot runs the width of the wallet: an iPhone 17 Pro Max fits, and any phone smaller than that. The two card slots sit at the front; the money slot behind them takes notes folded once, or a stack of extra cards. Loaded, it still closes flat.
Carry it inside our bags, or on its own. More accessories in Accessories.
