Motiya is the dressiest of the ten: a long, tiered ivory silk tassel with a ring of pearl beads at the top and a gold-tone chain of white clover links down the front. It is real silk, about 9 inches long, on a silver-tone swivel clasp that opens wide enough for a handle ring, a chain or a zip pull. It is a pearl bag charm with movement: the silk tiers swing while the pearl beads and clovers catch the light.
Each handmade bag charm is made by one curator in the House of Falguni studio in Ahmedabad, in about an hour. It comes in its own wrap, ready to clip on. On its own it is ₹599; with any House of Falguni bag in the same order it is ₹499.
