Every piece is checked by hand before it leaves Ahmedabad, so small natural variations are seen, not hidden.
Indian artisans hand block-printed and dyed this in the Ajrakh tradition on modal silk. The Nilufar Modal Silk Stole measures 28 × 72 inches and is offered in five limited variants: Navy Ajrakh, Crimson Kalam, Sheesh Mahal, Shahi Ajrakh and Mocha Ajrakh. Wear it over a kurta, over western clothing or on its own. Throw it over your shoulder with the Ikat Tote Bag and the daytime look turns evening.

Nilufar is the old word for the water lily, and the print carries that quiet. Artisans block-print and dye each stole by hand in the Ajrakh tradition. We chose modal silk for its soft, fluid drape. Made in small numbers in Ahmedabad, one of each variant. The slight shift from one print to the next is the mark of the hand that made it.

What material and size is the Nilufar Stole? It is made in modal silk and measures 28 × 72 inches.
Is the design printed or woven? The design is hand block-printed and dyed in the Ajrakh tradition rather than woven. Small shifts in print placement are part of the hand process.
How can I style the Nilufar Modal Silk Stole? Wear it as a dupatta over a kurta or salwar suit, as a light wrap over western clothing, or draped over one shoulder.
How should I care for it? Dry clean is recommended, or hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring or tumble dry. Dry in shade and iron on the reverse at low heat.
Can the Nilufar Stole be returned? No. Stoles and wraps are non-returnable. If it arrives damaged or incorrect, submit the HOF return form within 48 hours of delivery and follow the Refund Policy.
Each stole is block-printed by hand in Ahmedabad. The small shift from one print to the next is part of the craft.
