Tulsi is the green that grows by the doorway of an Indian home, kept for luck and picked for chai. These bowls wear its colour: a pair of hand-painted ceramic bowls in a reactive sage green that pools deeper at the rim and clears toward the base, so no two ever match exactly. Right for dip and raita, nuts and namkeen, a scoop of ice cream, or a katori portion at dinner. They sit easily beside the Coastal Bloom Plates and the rest of our hand-painted ceramics.
Reactive glaze is a small act of trust, the potter lays it on, the kiln decides where it darkens and where it breaks pale.
