The Ghungroo Studs in sky blue: a sky blue cotton centre ringed with two rows of tiny iron ghungroo bells, hand-threaded in Ahmedabad. Sky blue is the light one: it sits well with white, grey, denim and soft pink. At 1.5 inches across they sit close to the ear: present, never loud.
The same stud comes in several colours, each on its own page; see them all with our other ghungroo earrings. Small enough for the office, a plain cotton kurta or Indo-Western separates, and easy to wear every day.

Ghungroo are the bells classical dancers tie at their ankles, and their sound carries centuries of practice. We scaled that craft down to an everyday 1.5-inch stud, quiet enough for work and distinctive enough to be noticed. Each pair is hand-threaded in Ahmedabad in a single colour, in small batches.
