The Mogra Pentagon studs in yellow: a sunny yellow fabric centre set with three kundan stones and ringed with small kundan, handmade in Ahmedabad. Yellow is the happy one: haldi functions, daytime pujas, or a plain white kurta that needs a lift. The five-sided shape is 0.9 inch long and 0.8 inch across at its widest, pointed at the top.

Mogra is jasmine, the flower of the gajra. The three kundan stones are its buds and the small kundan border, traced round five sides, is the garland. Kundan setting began in the royal workshops of Rajasthan and Gujarat; we set ours on fabric, so a pair weighs about 4 g. In yellow, the pentagon is the warmest piece of the line. One curator makes each pair in Ahmedabad, in about 1 hour 45 minutes.

Are they heavy? No. The pair weighs about 4 g, light enough to forget you have them on.
How big are they? 0.9 inch long and 0.8 inch across at the widest, narrowing to 0.4 inch at the base: small, neat studs that sit on the lobe.
How do they close? With a stud and a push back (earring back included).
What do yellow earrings go with? White, indigo, teal, green and maroon. Yellow suits haldi and daytime functions and lifts a plain white kurta.
Can they get wet? No. Keep them away from water and perfume and wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
