The Ghungroo Studs in charcoal: a charcoal cotton centre ringed with two rows of tiny iron ghungroo bells, hand-threaded in Ahmedabad. Charcoal is the neutral one: it goes with black, white, grey and denim, and calms a busy print. At 1.5 inches across they sit close to the ear: present, never loud.

The Story

Ghungroo are the bells classical dancers tie at their ankles, and their sound carries centuries of practice. We scaled that craft down to an everyday 1.5-inch stud, quiet enough for work and distinctive enough to be noticed. Each pair is hand-threaded in Ahmedabad in a single colour, in small batches.

Wear It
