A work tote that carries the laptop and still looks like part of the outfit. The Ruby ikat tote is handwoven in Ahmedabad: deep red ikat, with ivory chevron motifs and matching red vegan leather handles. It has a padded sleeve that fits a 13-inch laptop such as a MacBook Air, a premium metal zip, and a zip-and-slip interior for everything you move through a day with. Ikat is woven, not printed. The yarn is resist-dyed by hand before it ever reaches the loom, so the pattern lives inside the cloth rather than sitting on top of it. We took that heritage weave and built it into a bag for the working day, with a padded sleeve for the laptop and room for everything else you carry. Handwoven in Ahmedabad and finished with vegan leather. The small shifts in the motif are the weave's signature, not a flaw.
