Inside are 200 unruled pages of recycled rag paper, with centre binding and a 4.5 × 7 inch page size. The Story

Katha means a story, and this is a place to keep yours. Artisans wrap each diary by hand in traditional Indian block-print cotton, the same craft that runs through the rest of the label, so no two covers come out quite alike. Made in small runs in Ahmedabad.

Is the diary ruled? No. All 200 pages are unruled, so they work for writing, sketching, lists or an aesthetic journal with tickets and pressed flowers.

What size is it? Each page is 4.5 × 7 inches and the closed diary is 5.7 × 7 inches, 0.9 inch thick: small enough for a handbag, large enough to write a full page.

Is this print one of a kind? Yes. There is one Slate Rose diary, and because the cloth is printed by hand, the print placement on your cover is its own.
