The Rani Pink chandbali keeps the traditional crescent silhouette, built on a pink and white tie-dyed fabric in the bandhani manner, with a kundan setting at the top and a row of ghungroo bells along the drop. Because the crescent is a fabric-covered base rather than cast metal, a 1.5-inch drop still sits light on the ear. Handcrafted in Ahmedabad for weddings, festivals and every occasion that deserves a little more. Rani pink is the brightest of the five: it lifts a plain kurta, suits haldi and mehendi mornings, and looks happiest in daylight.
Chandbalis are one of the oldest earring forms in Indian jewellery. Ours updates the classic shape with saturated colour and the sound of ghungroo at the base: festive without the weight, comfortable over long hours, and it catches light in a way that photographs well. The same design comes in five colours, each on its own page; see them all in our earrings collection.
Wear these with a kurta and the outfit is done. The earring carries the look; everything else can be simple.
